Lotus Elise

Our time attack Lotus Elise was prepared by YesterYear Motorsports with an Exige S supercharger conversion tuned by Vision Function.  Mad Motorsports located in Miami handles our track prep and crew assistance for events in the South East, while Yesteryear in Baltimore handles the Mid-Atlantic events for us.

Not much is needed to make Lotus cars ready for the track, but even great products can be improved, so in the interest of safety, reliability and performance, the modifications to our Lotus include:

  • Hoosier A6 (or Wets) or Toyo R1R racing tires;
  • Penske custom 3-way adjustable coilover suspension by SRP and Blackwatch Racing front sway bar;
  • Pagid Black racing brake pads and Blackwatch Racing 2-piece drilled rotors;
  • Lotus Exige S MP-62 supercharger;
  • Vision Function intercooler and intake with custom ECU programming;
  • Sector 111 Harness Bar with Schroth 6 point harnesses and a HANS device;
  • Tillett B5 carbon fiber racing seats;
  • Moroso baffled racing oil pan with Saikou Michi oil catch cans;
  • V2 Motorsports baffled fuel tank and aluminum steering arms;
  • ACT heavy duty clutch and Toda flywheel;
  • APR Performance carbon fiber rear wing, splitter, side sills and canards with a Difflow rear diffuser.

Penske Dodge Charger

This NASCAR Sprint Cup road course car was previously raced by Ryan Newman for Penske Racing at Watkins Glen International Speedway (NY) and Infineon Raceway (Sonoma, CA).  It became a show car for awhile, then we picked it up as a rolling chassis.  Philip Lindley, an ex-ARCA team member at Lindley Motorsports did a very meticulous job rebuilding and restoring it back to its former NASCAR specifications, and even came to Homestead Miami Speedway to help us test it out. Cunningham Motorsports, a team who runs these cars in the ARCA series, helped with the final setup.  Mad Motorsports located in Miami handles our track prep and crew assistance, and thankfully fixes all the things we break.

This road race chassis, with its current gearing, can reach a top speed of approximately 200 mph.  The specifications of this PRS-062 racing car are:

  • Penske Racing Dodge R5 P7 motor, 358 cu V8, 830+ horsepower at 8600 rpm;
  • Hoosier ARCA spec #44 road racing tires;
  • G-Force racing 4 speed transmission with Mid Valley shifter, no clutch required for shifting due to the straight cut gears;
  • Penske 7300 series adjustable shocks tuned by RE Suspension;
  • AP Racing 6 piston front brake calipers, 4 piston Brembo rear calipers;
  • All new Brown & Miller Racing Solutions oil, fuel, brake, transmission, differential & water lines, and wiring;
  • ATL 22 gallon road racing fuel cell with a Richardson dry break fuel filler;
  • Ryan Newman’s custom ButlerBuilt full containment safety seat, with a Schroth Racing 8 point harness.

BMW SpecE30

The E30 series BMW has proven to be one of the most popular, durable and fun chassis to turn into a road course race car. Even with a nearly stock 6 cylinder power train, the relatively light weight 1987-1992 BMW 325is has incredible speed, handling and braking powers. With a classic 5 speed transmission, these cars have proven to be tossable and a blast to drive around the track. Being a "Spec E30" means that our BMW race car has a full roll cage, safety harness, fire system, racing seat, window net, kill switch, and performance modifications that are required to wheel to wheel race in the NASA sanctioned Spec E30 racing series. Spec E30's all have identical racing suspensions, racing brakes, Toyo race tires and lightweight wheels, racing exhausts, and nice racing sponsor stickers and car numbers for those who need the extra speed.
